Tuesday Dance Nights are the lodge's signature public event, open to everyone for just five dollars at the door. A DJ runs the music from 5:30 to 9:00 P.M., happy hour specials run on drinks, and the kitchen puts out bar food that regulars come back for on its own merits. All proceeds benefit veterans.
Beyond Tuesday nights, the lodge offers a full bar and social hall available to members and their guests throughout the week. The Elks national organization provides members access to scholarship programs, veterans assistance, youth initiatives, and community grants that reach far beyond the four walls of the lodge itself.
Membership in BPOE Lodge 2173 opens the door to a network of lodges across the country, local volunteer opportunities, and a community of people who show up for each other.
